cmnLogoAnyone who has internet connection has the opportunity to help raise $20,000 for T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital ever day now through Monday, December 22 thanks to CU Direct’s 20 for 20 Campaign.

CU Direct, the nation’s leading provider of lending, automotive and strategic solutions to the credit union industry, is celebrating its 20th anniversary by holding a special contest that will end with one of the nation’s Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital receiving a $20,000 donation from CU Direct.  All area credit unions and the general public are invited to visit www.cudirect.com/cudirect20 and cast their vote for Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

Contest participants can vote once per day through December 22.  The hospital with the most votes will be announced on December 23rd and will receive $20,000 from CU Direct. The credit union with the most votes toward the winning hospital will be invited to co-present the $20,000 check from CU Direct to the winning hospital in early 2015.

“CU Direct has been a wonderful partner over the last 10 years, offering not only financial support for our member children’s hospitals but volunteers that serve on both local and national committees,” remarked Joe Dearborn, senior director of the Credit Unions for Kids program.  “CU Direct exemplifies the people helping people philosophy of the credit union movement.”

CU Direct’s President and CEO, Tony Boutelle, says his entire company is excited about continuing to support CMN Hospitals.

“As we reflect on 20 years in business, we want to give back to a non-profit that’s been near and dear to the CU Direct family for the past decade,” said Boutelle. “We’re excited to let our customers and the credit union community help decide which Children’s Miracle Network Hospital will receive the donation.”

Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is one of 170 CMN Hospitals that receives donations from many local businesses who are CMN Hospitals partners.  Hospitals utilize the funds based on what they need the most—typically for purchasing lifesaving equipment, supporting top therapy programs and providing charitable care.
