Join UT Erlanger Cardiology specialists as they present Heart Smart Saturday on January 31 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Chattanooga State’s Community Health Institute-Health Sciences Center.
As an accredited chest pain center and the first and only facility in the region to earn the Cycle IV accreditation, one of Erlanger’s commitments to the Chattanooga region is to educate residents about heart disease. Heart Smart Saturday will be facilitated by Erlanger’s Chief of Cardiology, Charles Campbell, M.D. and feature heart health lectures from some of the region’s top experts with UT Erlanger Cardiology including, Brian Cooper, M.D.; Walter L. Few, M.D.; Carol Gruver, M.D.; and Dharm Patel, M.D. Topics will include women and heart disease, sudden cardiac death, heart failure and peripheral vascular disease.
Free EKG screenings are available from 7 a.m. until 8:50 a.m. with admittance to the conference and a heart healthy lunch will be provided along with information from special exhibits.
